As a consultancy-oriented company, CLIMATICON GmbH shapes the social course of climate change. Our focus is on the development of strategic concepts, practical advice and the initiation of large-scale publicity projects.

For us, communication is a central key to impact: whether in the participation process or in the specialist project – we create visibility, participation and transfer through targeted information work and dialogical approaches.

Competencies
Effective action is based on solid technical foundations, which we create in applied-research collaborative projects and projects together with our associated company EPC gGmbH: well-founded analyses for sustainable concepts and strategies, innovative processes for participation and knowledge transfer.

History
CLIMATICON GmbH was spun off of EPC gGmbH in 2022. It complements the corporate group with a consulting-oriented approach focusing on strategic climate change adaptation, communication and networking.
Since its foundation, CLIMATICON has been growing continuously – with an increasing number of projects, strategic consulting assignments and a steadily expanding team. We support major projects such as the Network Climate Adaptation and Business.NRW (NKU) or the Resilience Expo, develop practical concepts and strategies and strengthen the social discourse on the challenges of climate change.
As part of the group of companies with EPC gGmbH, we work closely with partners from science, administration and business – at local, regional and national level.
Team
Our team of geoscientists, planners, graphic designers, and other specialists with related backgrounds reflects CLIMATICON’s interdisciplinary focus and broad expertise.
Network
CLIMATICON works on a project- and contract basis. To develop effective, practical solutions, we draw on a strong network of expert stakeholders, organizations, and institutions from public administration, academia, and business.
We cooperate with established partners as well as new players, in a spirit of trust, strategy, and a solution-oriented approach. This collaboration enables us to efficiently pool expertise, connect perspectives, and further develop our services in a targeted manner.

CLIMATICON works on numerous joint projects and contract research projects in the field of climate change. The challenging work is varied and exciting, so that every working day brings something new.
