The district has experienced repeated problems with heavy rainfall in the past, while heat stress is also increasingly occurring in densely populated areas. A holistic approach to these climate risks within the framework of the climate adaptation concept is particularly important: the concept consolidates existing knowledge, assesses climate risks, defines strategic goals, and prioritizes measures.
